1. Agreement and provider
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the FaxPage iPhone and iPad application, the FaxPage website, and related support. FaxPage is provided by the application provider identified as the seller or developer on FaxPage’s App Store product page (“Provider,” “FaxPage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using FaxPage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use FaxPage.
2. What FaxPage does
FaxPage is an on-device document-preparation tool. It helps you create professional fax cover sheets, import PDFs and images, arrange attachments, preview the combined output, and share, print, or save a fax-ready PDF using supported features of your iPhone or iPad.
FaxPage has no user accounts and does not provide developer-operated cloud document storage or remote document processing.
3. FaxPage is not a fax-transmission service
If you need to transmit a document, you must choose and use a separate service, app, printer, fax machine, or recipient. You are responsible for checking the recipient, transmission method, page completeness, deadline, delivery status, and acceptance.
Do not rely on FaxPage for emergency communications or as the sole method for any time-sensitive filing, legal notice, deadline, or delivery.
4. Apple Standard EULA and license
Unless FaxPage’s App Store product page states that a custom end-user license agreement applies, your license to the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement — Standard EULA.
These Terms supplement the Standard EULA by describing FaxPage, its website, and related responsibilities. They do not replace or reduce rights or obligations under the Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA concerning the app license, the Standard EULA controls.
The app is licensed, not sold. No rights are granted except those expressly provided by the Standard EULA, these Terms, and applicable law.
5. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
6. Purchase, billing, and refunds
FaxPage is a paid-upfront App Store application. It does not contain subscriptions or in-app purchases. The current price, taxes, availability, and storefront terms are shown by Apple before purchase and may vary by country or region.
Apple handles payment, billing, receipts, purchase history, redownloads, and refund requests. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. You may submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Payment for a current app version does not guarantee indefinite availability, compatibility with every future operating-system version, or the addition of any future feature, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
7. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of documents and other content you create or select. FaxPage processes content locally to perform the actions you request. We do not acquire ownership of it and cannot access content that is not sent to us.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use, reproduce, edit, print, and transmit the content and that doing so does not violate law, confidentiality obligations, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, court orders, or contractual restrictions.
You are responsible for:
- document accuracy, completeness, page order, and recipient information;
- obtaining required permissions or consents;
- protecting confidential or sensitive material;
- keeping appropriate originals and backups;
- reviewing the final PDF before use; and
- complying with filing, notice, delivery, and retention requirements.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use FaxPage or the website to:
- violate applicable law or another person’s rights;
- create or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or infringing material;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent authorization;
- send unsolicited or prohibited communications;
- introduce malware or interfere with an app, website, device, or network;
- bypass security or access controls;
- reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or sublicense the app except where applicable law or the Standard EULA expressly permits it; or
- use the app in a way that could expose us or others to liability.
9. Professional, sensitive, and regulated use
FaxPage is a general-purpose productivity tool. It is not legal, medical, tax, accounting, financial, compliance, records-management, telecommunications, or filing advice or service.
We do not represent or certify that FaxPage satisfies HIPAA or any particular privacy, security, professional, evidentiary, archival, delivery, or industry-specific requirement. A cover-sheet notice and local processing do not by themselves establish compliance.
If you use FaxPage for healthcare, legal, financial, government, educational, employment, or other regulated or sensitive work, you are responsible for determining whether the app and every selected sharing or delivery method are appropriate and lawful. Consult a qualified professional when necessary.
10. Contacts, Photos, Files, sharing, and printing
FaxPage may request Contacts or Photos access only after you choose a feature that uses that information. You control those permissions through iOS or iPadOS.
When you import through Files, use the Share Extension, export, share, or print, you direct content to or from a location you select. Availability and behavior may depend on Apple, another app, a storage service, a printer, a network, or another third party. You are responsible for reviewing a destination and its terms before transferring sensitive content.
11. Third-party services
Apple services, Files providers, cloud-storage services, email or messaging apps, printers, fax providers, and other destinations are independent third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, security, privacy practices, fees, delivery, accuracy, or performance. A reference or link to a third party does not imply endorsement.
12. Updates and availability
We may update FaxPage to fix defects, improve performance, change features, or maintain compatibility and security. Features may differ by device, operating-system version, language, region, permission settings, available storage, and connected third-party services. We do not promise every feature will remain available in its current form indefinitely.
Where applicable law requires notice or preserves rights relating to paid digital content, those requirements control.
13. Privacy
The FaxPage Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Because FaxPage has no account or developer backend, we generally cannot recover documents lost or deleted from your device.
14. Support
Support is available at contact@faxpage.app. We will make reasonable efforts to respond, but do not guarantee a response time or that every issue can be resolved. Do not send sensitive document content unless strictly necessary for troubleshooting.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FaxPage and the website are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that:
- the app will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- a document will be suitable for a particular purpose;
- formatting will be preserved by every destination or printer;
- any transmission or delivery will occur;
- a recipient will receive, read, accept, or legally recognize a document; or
- use of FaxPage will satisfy a legal, professional, or regulatory obligation.
The warranty provisions in Apple’s Standard EULA also apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, business interruption, lost data, missed deadlines, failed delivery, or loss arising from a third-party service.
The limitations in Apple’s Standard EULA also apply. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
17. Ending use
You may stop using and delete FaxPage at any time. Deleting the app may permanently remove locally stored data. It does not delete copies already exported to Files, another app, a backup, a service, a printer, or a recipient.
Your license may terminate as stated in the Standard EULA if you fail to comply with its terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for prior conduct—remain effective.
18. Applicable law
These Terms do not override mandatory laws or consumer protections that apply where you live. The governing-law and forum provisions applicable to the app license are in Apple’s Standard EULA. We do not add a separate exclusive choice of law or forum.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to FaxPage, applicable law, or our operations. Changes apply prospectively from the updated date shown here. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. A change will not retroactively reduce mandatory rights relating to a prior purchase.
20. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to contact@faxpage.app.
